 FAQ's - How do I ‘hand’ a door?

Handing a door is the term for establishing which side of the door the handle sits. It is important to get this right otherwise the handle will not fit.

Always view the door from the outside when ‘handing’ a door. If the lever is on the right hand side of the door, the door and therefore the handle are right hand. Conversely, if the lever is on the left hand side of the door, the door and therefore the handle are left hand.
