New products available from Carl F direct reinforce the one-stop service provided by the on-line shop. Launched in 2003, Carl F direct provides hand tools and accessories to the window and door industry. Latest additions to the site are Briwax Professional products and Tygaflor PTFE sheets.

Carl F Petersen reports that the product additions represent the first stage in offering popular lines from its hardware range via Carl F direct. Designed to simplify the buying process for professionals and end users, 24/7 access is provided for purchases on the Carl F direct Web site.

The profile repair kit, newly featured on Carl F direct, comprises high quality Briwax Professional components and is available exclusively from Carl F. The products enable the user to repair scratches, gouges and incorrectly drilled holes up to 5mm diameter in PVC-u and timber profiles. Carl F reports that, as it is less expensive to repair than remake a profile, the kit presents a significant cost saving solution.

Tygaflor PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sheets, also newly distributed by Carl F direct, provide excellent non-stick properties. The self-adhesive sheets, which are one metre wide, are supplied by the metre to be cut to size to fit individual welding plates. The sheets protect the heated welding plates and ensure optimum PVC-u welding performance. Now available from Carl F in two thicknesses, six and ten thousandths of an inch, the company recommends the 10 thou option as more durable and requiring less frequent replacement than 6 thou PTFE sheets. This will, in turn, reduce machine down time when changing sheets thereby increasing productivity.
